1. About our services
The Human Element provides communication and confidence coaching, including one-to-one sessions, programs and corporate training. Coaching is educational and practical. It is not therapy, counselling, psychological or medical advice, or mental-health treatment, and Perry Griffin is not a licensed mental-health professional. If you are experiencing a mental-health concern or crisis, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.
2. No guaranteed results
We aim to provide structured, supportive coaching and honest feedback. Outcomes depend on many factors, including your goals and the effort you put into practising. We do not guarantee any particular result.
3. Pricing and payment
- Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are shown on this website. Introductory prices may change or end at any time. Applicable taxes [HST/GST — confirm whether you are registered and how tax is shown] are [included / added].
- Payment is taken online through Stripe at the time of purchase. We do not store card details.
- Current prices: single sessions (60 minutes) 100 CAD; Human Connection Accelerator (four 60-minute sessions) 350 CAD; corporate training by custom quote.
4. Booking, rescheduling and cancellation (proposed policy — confirm)
- Rescheduling or cancelling: you may reschedule or cancel a session free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice using the link in your booking confirmation or by emailing us.
- Late changes and no-shows: with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you do not attend, the session may be forfeited. We may offer flexibility for emergencies at our discretion.
- Lateness: if you arrive late, the session will usually still end at the scheduled time.
- If we need to cancel: we will offer you another time or a full refund for that session.
- Accelerator sessions: the four sessions are intended to be used over approximately four weeks. [Confirm: sessions must be used within X weeks of purchase.]
5. Refunds (proposed policy — confirm)
- Single sessions are not refundable once delivered. If you’re unhappy with a session, tell us and we’ll try to make it right.
- For the Accelerator, if you decide not to continue, you may request a refund of unused sessions within [14] days of purchase, provided [no more than one] session has been used. Used sessions are charged at the single-session price.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; timing depends on your bank.
Nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
6. Corporate training
Corporate engagements are governed by a written proposal or agreement agreed with your organization, which will set out scope, fees, cancellation and other terms.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to give accurate information, to participate respectfully, and to use any practice exercises safely and lawfully. Sessions are for your personal or professional development; you agree not to record sessions without our permission.
8. Confidentiality
We treat what you share in sessions as confidential and handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. We may need to disclose information where required by law.
9. Intellectual property
Website content, exercises and materials belong to The Human Element or its licensors. You may use materials we give you for your own personal development, but may not copy, resell or distribute them without permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our services or website, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the relevant service. [Have a lawyer confirm wording.]
11. Governing law
