About The Human Element

Communication should feel natural, not scripted.

In a world increasingly shaped by technology, automation, AI and digital interactions, genuine human connection is still an essential skill — and one you can practise.

What we believe

Meaningful communication isn’t about memorizing scripts, manipulating people, or pretending to be someone you’re not. It’s about understanding others, listening, expressing yourself with confidence, recognizing social cues, and building authentic relationships.

People don’t need to become someone else to be confident. They need to understand themselves, develop social awareness, practise communicating, and learn how to connect naturally.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t teach manipulation, “persuasion hacks” or pickup techniques.
  • We don’t claim anyone can reliably read minds or identify emotions from body language alone.
  • We don’t offer therapy, counselling or mental-health treatment.
  • We don’t promise guaranteed results.

Founder

Perry Griffin

Perry is a sales and business development professional with experience in technology sales, account management, presentations, prospecting and relationship-building. He has also trained business development representatives.

Through that work he developed a practical understanding of how confidence, communication and genuine connection shape a conversation. He believes strong communication should feel natural rather than scripted, and his approach emphasizes listening, asking meaningful questions, understanding different personalities, and building the confidence to express yourself.

Perry is approachable, energetic and passionate about helping people connect.

Being transparent

The Human Element is a new coaching company. Perry’s background is in sales and business development — he is not a licensed therapist, psychologist or mental-health professional, and we don’t present coaching as a substitute for professional care.

That’s why the first step is a free conversation: so you can decide whether this is the right fit before spending anything.

Where we’re headed

We’re starting with one-to-one coaching because it’s the best way to understand what people actually need. Over time we hope to add group workshops, corporate training and other formats — built on what we learn from the people we work with.
